Hrishikesh Ranade is a well known name in the field of Indian Film music industry as an accomplished playback singer with a lovely soothing gifted voice ...that touches the listeners' hearts....Hrishikesh has inherited his musical prowess from his father, Shri Pramod Ranade, who is a violin exponent and a passionate vocalist and his mother, Mrs. Meenal Ranade a passionate music lover who never felt short in her rock solid support for her son. Mrs. Meena also loves poetry! Hrishikesh developed an ear for all forms of music and slowly his focus zoomed in on Hindi and Marathi film music.
Hrishikesh was born on 18th October 1981 in Mumbai and spent his childhood in Pune ... He was quite a shy boy who studied in D.E.S school....waited to shine in the field of music until he started participating in school level competitions at the age of 12.
That time he started learning basics of classical music from Diwan Sir where his passion in music started growing with some promising winning moments in competitions in and around Pune. When Hrishikesh entered into college he was learning classical music from Guru Shri. Shekhar Kumbhojkar Sir and later continuously groomed under the guidance of Guru Pandit. Vijay Koparkar Sir.
The real flourishing period was his college days where he decided to do his career in music as a singer....participated and won in almost every college festival and competitions....Among all students he was favourite to all due to his very down to earth and simple behavioural approach ....which persists today also....
From there he never looked back....by the time he completed his graduation in B.A ( political science ) from S.P. college ,Pune ,simultaneously he had started performing in many Marathi and Hindi professional stage shows....
College cultural arts circle group plays important role in shaping what Hrishikesh is today as a singer...getting correct ambience with quality musician friends which are doing fabulous job as artists in today's music industry ,was fortunate part of his career building.
He has been priviledged to sing in more than 160 live concerts with Shreya Ghoshal and also been fortunate to have shared stage with Ashaji Bhosle ji. Recently he has been singing alongwith the popular and immensely talented composer duo Ajay-Atul in thier live concerts. Hrishikesh Has been giving playback for popular marathi movies like Mumbai Pune Mumbai, Tu Sadhhya Kay Karte, Whatsup Lagna, AnandiGopal, Pitruroon, Phularani and many more..
Some popular songs originally sung for marathi movies are Kadhi Tu, Saath de tu mala, Anandghana, Jara jara tipur chandane, Hirve hirve gaar galiche and many more.
Recently has given playback alongwith Anweshhha, for the popular hindi film Sita Ramam, composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar.
In 2000, he firstly participated in Marathi saregama on Zee TV channel reality show...from there onwards , it's just became a series of continuous winning of reality show competitions -
• Winner of the world series Saregama ( Dubai) where he was appreciated by great artists like Ghulam Ali , Abeeda Parveen, and Jagjeet Singh ji in the year 2003.
• in 2004, in Mumbai , he again won the popular choice award series in Saregama on Zee TV (Hindi).
• In 2006, he came in the top 5 jodis with her singer wife Prajakta Joshi - Ranade in the Jodi competition of Zee Saregama ( Ek Main Aur Ek Tu) .
• In 2009, He was awarded the greatest " Maharashtra cha Aajcha Aavaj" in Marathi saregama Megafinals.

2. received radio mirchi best male playback singer award for the first time in 2018 for the Marathi film "Ti sadhya Kay Karte" song - Jara Jara tipur Chandane (music by Nilesh Mohrir).
3. Received Maharashtra State Award for the song "Tuzya Athavaninche" from the film "What's up Lagna" music composed by Arif - Troy- 2019
4. Received best male playback singer award for the year 2020 for the song "Anandghana" from the marathi film "Anandi Gopal".​
